How it works

One forward. One readable answer.

1

Forward the email

Use your mail app's normal Forward button and send the suspicious message to scan@requestguard.com. No special forwarding method is required.

2

We analyze it

RequestGuard checks sender-domain age and reputation, lookalike spellings, links, message structure, and eligible attachments.

3

Get the verdict

A reply explains the overall verdict and the warning signs that influenced it.

The reply

A verdict you can act on.

GREEN

No clear warning signs

The checks did not identify a clear threat. Stay cautious with unexpected requests.

AMBER

Suspicious — review carefully

Some signals need your attention, or a check could not be completed.

Coverage and limits

What gets checked.

  • Sender-domain age, threat-list reputation, and lookalike or typo-domain signals.
  • Messages up to 20 MiB total.
  • Up to 4 non-inline attachments per message.
  • All attachment types are eligible, including executables, scripts, archives, PDFs, Office files, and images.
  • External service quotas or timeouts can make attachment coverage incomplete; the reply will use an amber verdict in that case.
